They may be super–heroes, but almost all of the men and women behind the masks have personal lives, too. They grow old (more or less), die (occasionally, although seldom permanently), and get married. This trade paperback collects some of Marvel Comics’ most famous weddings from nearly four decades of comics, including Reed Richards and Susan Storm of the Fantastic Four, Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson, Bruce Banner and Betty Ross, Scott Summers and Jean Grey, and many more. And since these men and women are in fact super–heroes, few of their weddings get a respite from the kind of interruptions their lives are devoted to: battling super–villains.

The weddings/skirmishes with gate–crashers are written and drawn by talents including Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, John Byrne, John Buscema, Jim Lee, and other comic legends.
