DC Silver Age Classics Adventure Comics

In 1992, DC Comics reprinted ten “Silver Age Classics,” key issues from the era that marked the rebirth of the comic book industry. This reproduction of Adventure Comics features the first appearance of the Legion of Super-Heroes, three of whom—Cosmic Boy, Lightning Boy (later Lightning Lad), and Saturn Girl—have traveled back to Superboy’s time to recruit him for their teen super-team of the 30th century. Of course, this book launched what would eventually become one of comics’ biggest cult-favorite super-hero properties, and the Legionnaires remain popular to this day. Green Arrow and Aquaman tales round out the title.
