A fun black and white tale of the continuing adventures of young Hannah as she visits her friends on the Fright Side. She learns that, instead of Christmas, they celebrate the Winter Solstice when Mister Boogeylegs takes the coal you leave out for his fire and replaces it with something you’ve always wanted. Since Mister Boogeylegs doesn’t visit her world, Hannah goes on a quest to find the last autumn leaf so she can make her one wish and give her parents something for Christmas better than the socks or flannel robes they’re always getting. Scary Godmother, Mister Pettibone, the Boozle, Bug-a-boo, Orson the vampire, Harry the werewolf, and Harry’s mom all take the toad trip with Hannah.
