Time Twisted Tales

In 1986 Rip Off Press reprinted stories by underground cartoonist Dave Sheridan, (Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers), that originally appeared in Rip Off Comix in the late 1970s. Ostensibly about the anachronisms presented by time travel, these stories are much more concerned with the comedic repercussions resulting from time travelers and space aliens interacting with bewildered civilians and hippies, especially hippies with an abundant supply of recreational drugs.

Although the appeal of this title is humor, the jokes are probably funnier if the reader’s perceptions are likewise altered.
