Is the Earth mere days from destruction? That’s what the predictions from as far back as Nostradamus seem to say, and the fearsome arrival into this reality of the Emperor, also know as the God of All Evil, is another pretty good indicator. Standing in his way is Lord Tygar, a driven warrior who has awaited this battle for millions of years; and the simple man named Nickson, who has been infused with the life force of the God Zeus, becoming Solar Lord. Nickson has another reason for wanting the Emperor of Darkness defeated; he wants to return to his love, pregnant with their child. But will he make it?

Khoo Fuk Lung’s full-color title has power and drama to spare, and if the themes—honor, duty, courage, and the perils of heroism—are somewhat familiar, the presentation is imaginative, and quite cinematic. Published by Image Comics.
