This black-and-white anthology series contains chapters of various, unrelated, creator-owned tales, including: “Breeder,” an enigmatic story about the search for divinity, the collective subconscious of humanity, an elusive covert project, and the second coming of God; “Hel’a,” the legend of brave warriors in a time of black arts and dragons, in the vein of Hercules and Xena: Warrior Princess; “Sticks and Stones,” a gas station bathroom encounter between a bizarre couple and a creature made entirely of wood; “Haze,” centering on a man so bent on reaching the heavens that he creates his own Tower of Babel; and lastly, “Mysteriarch,” in which a gifted illusionist with relationship problems makes a startling discovery.
