The Dark Knight takes a backseat in this arty one–shot from writer–artist Scott Morse. The focus actually falls upon beloved supporting character Jim Gordon, retired police commissioner of Gotham. Seeking escape from the high–speed pace of city life, Gordon takes a vacation in a tiny coastal inn. However, even here the reality of the life he temporarily left behind creeps into the picture once again, interrupting his moment of paradise. Murders are being committed at the inn, and old detective’s instincts start coursing through Gordon’s veins. He also discovers that a certain good friend in a cape is there to assist.
