For decades, Steve Canyon has been one of America’s most popular newspaper comic strips. Created by the legendary Milton Caniff in the forties, this daring pilot continues to draw readers nearly fifty years later.

In 1983, the early days of this strip were drawn together in a number of magazine format books. Covering months of strips in a single issue, these books also include background information on Caniff and his series, as well as excerpts from other period strips.
