Here’s a wonderfully original manga: 15-year-old Kazuya gets into a “lucky” car accident which reveals an undiagnosed ulcer than could’ve killed him. Unable to stay with his older brother after the brother marries the girl he’s got a crush on, Kazuya makes a late start to his boys-only boarding school.

Kazuya lives in Greenwood (think Sherwood Forest, home to nonconformists) dorm whose unusual members include a Christian doomsday cult and his roommate Shun, who’s a boy dressed as a girl.

In any other manga, keeping this a secret and the resulting romantic and sexual eruptions between the roomies would’ve been the central conceit, but for some reason the school knows and doesn’t care—to which Kazuya rightfully exclaims “That’s stupid!”

It’s just another component of the series as Kazuya struggles with his studies, living alone for the first time, his older brother (who instead of becoming a respectable salaryman is a nurse—working at the school) and his still hot passion for his brother’s wife, who infuriatingly has started to mother him.
