The Epsilon Wave

    (Independent, 1985-1986)
©1985 Independent Comics

Arthur has chronic sleeping problems and is treated by doctors at a place called the Sleep Disorders Lab. Nightmare is a manifestation of Arthur Williams’ dreams, and is given superhuman powers by them. During one of his sessions, Nightmare appears as if he came right from Williams’ body. He instinctively fights crime and has little respect for his weak host. The Epsilon Wave is set in Texas and follows the super-hero Nightmare through his many adventures. Early issues also included a backup story starring a hero named Seadragon.

This series began in October of 1985 under the Independent Comics label. It moved to Elite Comics with issue #5, later concluding at issue #8.
