In a tradition almost as old as comic books themselves, Dark Horse brings great classics of literature to the readers in a comic-book format. Dark Horse has adapted great classics such as James Fenimore Cooper’s tales of adventure and betrayal during the French and Indian war, “The Last of the Mohicans,” in comic book form. Much like Classics Illustrated before it, Dark Horse used the comics medium to make great literature accessible to people who might otherwise never read the classics.
