The Colony, home to Earth’s surviving population, is in a constant state of war. Hypershock Troopers, elite soldiers augmented with cybernetic technology, are the Colony’s major defense against the dreaded Angelans, a race of insect-like humanoids. But the Angelans are not the monsters that the Colony would like its citizens to believe, and in fact their past may be more closely linked with the Colony’s than anyone knows. When Corbin, the leader of the Hypershock Troopers, discovers that his true father was an Angelan, he realizes that his entire life was a lie. And at the heart of the lies was the man that Corbin has always most admired: Cronus, Director-General of the Colony.
