Rob Hanes

™ and ©1991 Randy Reynaldo

The creator of “Rob Hanes,” Randy Reynaldo, was influenced by the adventure strips of the 1930s, 1940s, and ’50s. He liked how an average-looking person was thrown into epic adventures, often having to travel across the world in the process.

This featured detective stories, romantic comedies, spy thrillers, sports stories, fantasy stories, and even a drawing room mystery with Gothic overtones. Its star, Rob Hanes, is a young man who makes his living as a freelance adventurer. His main client is the United States government. Even though the Cold War is over, the spy games still go on as Hanes is often charged with going undercover to uncover international spy rings.
