Badge was a magazine-format comic featuring the work of artist David Spurlock. Spurlock has a far-out, psychedelic style which he uses to spin fantasies based on rock songs. (John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix are both credited in issue #1, and issue #2 promises work based on a Small Faces album.) A character named Bleugene walks through these fantasy worlds, spinning in a daze while having fantastic experiences. A pen and ink fantasy with high production values, Badge is the comics equivalent of a beautiful fever dream.
