X-Men: The Complete Age of Apocalypse Epic

™ and © 2005 Marvel Characters, Inc.

In 1995, the alternate-timeline saga the Age of Apocalypse affected the X-Men titles so profoundly that temporary titles (such as X-Calibre, Factor-X, Astonishing X-Men) replaced the regular mainstays (Excalibur, X-Factor, X-Men (2nd Series), Uncanny X-Men) for several months.

In this dark, twisted reality, Charles Xavier was murdered at an early age, derailing his dream of peaceful mutant-human coexistence. Unopposed except for a small band of mutant freedom fighters led by Magneto, the ruthlessly powerful mutant Apocalypse conquered the North American continent, virtually exterminating the human citizens, and decimating the mutant population as well to achieve a society where only the strongest survived.

This 4-volume series collects the entire saga in chronological order, including stories from X-Man, Blink, X-Men Chronicles, Tales from the Age of Apocalypse, and the “substitute” titles listed above.
