Bullwinkle

The character of Bullwinkle the moose was first introduced in a supporting role position on the earliest Adventures of Rocky the Flying Squirrel in 1959. Even in comic books, Rocky and his Fiendish Friends predated this series. By 1961, everyone knew who the real star of Jay Ward’s animated classic was, and Bullwinkle received his own title, as well as the television series was rechristened The Bullwinkle Show. No matter the title, the quality of the original series and its comic book spin-offs never wavered and are a must for Jay Ward and animation fans.
