Young Justice: The Secret

Robin, Superboy, and Impulse (see also JLA: World Without Grownups) team up to investigate the mysterious evacuation of a nearby town. They are met by the DEO (Department of Extranormal Operations). The somewhat sinister organization then explains that they were transporting a strange, gaseous creature that accidentally escaped during transfer to another facility. The menacing creature must be caught before it goes on a killing rampage. The three juvenile super heroes go looking for the creature, but have some doubts about the truth of this story after they capture the creature. It seems the monster is actually a young girl who was held captive by the DEO since before she can remember.

The Secret is one of DC’s “Girl Frenzy” titles published in the summer of ‘98. Others include Batgirl, Donna Troy, Lois Lane, The Mist, The Ravens, and Tomorrow Woman.
