Automatic Kafka

Created by Joe Casey (Uncanny X-Men) and Ashley Wood (Hellspawn), this quirky series introduces the reader to the surreal world of former super-hero Automatic Kafka. Once a member of the sensationally popular super-hero group, The $tranger$, the robotic Kafka is now living a life of indulgence, spending much of his time in a drug induced, hallucinogenic haze searching for meaning in his life. All the while, Kafka’s exploits are seemingly under observation by Agent Stahl from the National Park Service, who is planning to use Kafka to further his own secret agenda.

Told through a unique style reflecting Kafka’s state of mind, the series explores just how far an icon can fall as well as just how human a machine can be.
