The Batman Adventures: Dangerous Dames & Demons
(DC, 2003)
™ and © DC Comics
Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, the writer and artist respectively who were the principal talents behind the Fox television network’s, Batman: The Animated Series, in the early 1990s subsequently collaborated on some select comic stories for the companion comics. This trade paperback collects many of these stories including the Eisner award-winning “Mad Love” which revealed the origin of Harley Quinn and her bizarre, self-destructive attraction to the Joker. This story alone is reason enough to get this book.
Also included are stories from the Batman Adventures annuals and holiday specials featuring the talent of such luminaries as John Byrne, Dan DeCarlo and Klaus Janson.
