Devil Dinosaur

    (Marvel, 1978)
Marvel

“Moon Boy” is a chimpanzee-like ancestor of man. Unlike most of his kind, he is unafraid of the night, thus earning this peculiar name among his people.

One night while exploring, he came across a group of larger man-apes who had trapped a mother dinosaur beneath a fiery volcano. The volcano erupted suddenly, scattering the man-apes. However, Moon Boy remained and discovered a young offspring of the mother dinosaur. He led the young dinosaur to safety and helped tend to its wounds. Soon, they became something like friends, with Moon Boy using his intelligence, and Devil Dinosaur using its great strength to survive together in a savage world.
