This story occurs in the Star Wars universe about 4000 years before Luke Skywalker.At that time two young Jedi warriors, Ulic Qel-Droma and Nomi Sunrider become involved in a war on the planet Onderron between the rulers of Onderron and a cult of followers of Freedon Nadd, a Dark Jedi who ruled the planet centuries earlier. At stake are various Dark Force artifacts which could tip the balance of the Force in the galaxy to the Dark Side.
