The Espers are people with amazing, psychic abilities, the product of generations of eugenics. These abilities were meant to serve the Architects, a secret organization that controlled the breeding (and for that matter, much of world government and commerce). In this series, a band of Espers has joined together to fight the Architects, and stop them from completing the H.A.A.R.P. project—ostensibly an experiment to improve submarine communication, but in reality an attempt at global mind control!

This series is actually the fourth to feature the Espers, James Hudnall’s acclaimed conspiracy/psychic super-hero series. Both Eclipse and Hudnall’s own Halloween comics served as homes to the Espers, as well as Marvel Comics (Epic) where it ran under the name Interface. This latest series also features the return of Brian Marx (the random magic practitioner featured in Hudnall’s Chiller) who joins forces with the Espers to fight the Architects.
