The Shadow Dwellers were a race that lived alongside ours, but which evolved far more quickly. They were more than human, with powers and lifespans far beyond ours. But we outnumbered them, and they took to living a secret existence in the shadows. They blended into our society—but never forgot who they really were.

Power Line is the story of three of these Shadow Dwellers: Victor, whose family had been feuding for centuries with the Ravenscores—and who had seen his family slaughtered just as they tried for peace; Lenore, who used her powers to flee an arranged marriage with one of the Ravenscores; and Ripper, a former wrestler who lost a hand helping Lenore escape. These three fled to New York together, but there is no escape from their true heritage.

The Shadow Line Saga includes the stories of Power Line, Doctor Zero, and St. George.
