UFO Encounters

Since the very beginning, man has wondered if he was alone in the universe. The writers and artists of Golden Press’ UFO Encounters say the answer is an unequivocal “no, we are not.” A full color compilation of more than sixty short stories dedicated to lifting the veil of mystery off of the phenomena known as unidentified flying objects, UFO Encounters details tales of UFO history, sightings, and abductions. At times overly theatrical, each story is a stand-alone account of strange visitors from other worlds, some friendly some menacing. Though some stories are said to be based upon actual eyewitness accounts, they have been dramatized for sensational effect. Originally published by Golden Press in the late 1960s, UFO Encounters is similar in tone to other pulp collections from that era such as UFO Flying Saucers and UFO & Outer Space.
