When X-Factor’s leader, Havok, was trapped in an explosion with a space-time device, he was propelled from the regular Marvel Universe into an alternate universe, where he is the leader of the Six. This universe has profound differences from Havok’s, with a disturbing parallel history and radically altered versions of the regular Marvel characters. The Six is this universe’s version of the original X-Men—Havok; his wife, Madelyne Pryor; Brute; Iceman; the Fallen; and Bloodstorm, a vampiric Storm. The Six fight for mutant emancipation, while combating foes such as Nick Fury’s S.H.I.E.L.D. terrorists, and the robotic bug, Moot. While Havok tries to come to lead his team as best he can, he secretly searches for a way to return to his own universe.
