By the early 22nd century, Earth had rebuilt itself from the effects of the third world war, and had come together under the management of Aegis. Aegis had built the “perfect city” of Olympus, populating it primarily with Biodroids—genetically engineered humans designed to be happy living there. In Olympus, virtually every human need is taken care of. Still, there are some who have trouble adjusting to life in paradise—and would prefer to see the whole thing burned to the ground.

That’s where Deunan Knute and the S.W.A.T. teams come in. Having saved the city from terrorists before, she’s now been headhunted for a special assignment protecting the city’s ruling elite. In accepting the assignment, however, she became a pawn in a power game which had the potential to affect all humanity.
