Sanitarium is horror comic that revolves around the bizarre and terrifying back-stories of patients who have been committed to a eerie insane asylum. Each story is introduced by the creepy head of the institution, Dr. Stenson. “Monsters Are Real” tells the story of a young boy struggling to survive not only his abusive father, but a mysterious nightmarish entity that appears to be stalking him. Is the monster real, or just a figment of the poor lad’s tormented imagination?
