For each generation, there is only one vampire duck. In this generation, the umpteenth incarnation is Count Duckula of Transylvania. However, this unearthly being has but one shortcoming, he’s a vegetarian! The count would be the natural heir in a long line of vampire ducks but not as the world’s first vegetarian vampire. Loyal manservant Igor desperately waits for the day his master chooses blood over broccoli. First-class birdbrain Nanny lives to supply her beloved Count with clean underwear. Of course, the Count’s main nemesis is Doctor Von Goosewing who happens to be the world’s best vampire hunter but who has never yet captured a vampire. Lovely niece Vanna Von Goosewing completes the cast as the Count’s primary love interest after their initial encounter which was so shocking. In addition, Danger Mouse has a hilarious debut that will have longtime comic readers in stitches.
