Ghost Hunters (NDP)

Ghosthunters sidesteps the comic hijinks and light–hearted scares of the 1984 movie blockbuster Ghostbusters for a straight–faced, science fiction–based approach to the subject of paranormal activity.

Engineer Murdoch Nash sees what might be the ghost of deceased co–worker Dr. Eugene Serrano who was accidentally vaporized during a laboratory experiment designed to probe the possibility of other dimensions. At a loss, the skeptical Nash turns to the American Society of Paranormal Investigations for help. The non–profit ASPI is a congenial group of parapsychologists and amateur trackers of paranormal activity, whose members include lead investigator Sharon O'Dea, hapless heavy–lifter Scott Orlando, geek–chic Casper Solomon and shy psychic Zoe Richards.

Artist W. McAllister’s deft commingling of digitally manipulated images with traditional illustration and his rich use of color make reading Ghosthunters an uncommonly stimulating visual experience.
