The Adventures of Liberal Man

Crushed by the Republicans’ gaining control of both houses of Congress, a despondent Democrat decides to refocus his energies by chanting “Liberals are good and caring…Republicans must die…Liberals are good and caring…Republicans must die…” With his thoughts amplified by the pyramid he kept over his bed, his chanting mystically transforms him into…Liberal Man!
Determined to use his powers in the service of his party, Liberal Man immediately teamed up with Media Man (a slick spin doctor), and his “equal-kick” (“sidekick” would be derogatory): a black, single mother and former crack baby with no other obvious qualifications. In issue #2, they stumble across 60s Man, a marijuana-smoking hippie with the super-power of emitting constant hemp fumes.
Often very funny, if sometimes overly strident, Liberal Man is an interesting bit of political satire.
