Primal Force

Primal Force kicked off following the great crisis in time known as Zero Hour. Among the casualties of that struggle were six of the ten “Leymen,” mystical guardians of the earth itself. Moreover, their ancient spirit enemy Cataclysm had reemerged in a new host body. The remaining four Leymen realized that they now lacked the power to fulfill their sacred duty. New Leymen must be summoned, but this time, what was needed was not the mages who had previously served, but super-heroes.

The Leymen’s mystic call went out and reached five special youths. From Crossmaglen, Northern Ireland came Jack O’Lantern, a young boy just learning to be a hero. From Hong Kong came Claw, a ferocious samurai. Add to this Red Tornado from Arizona, Golem from Louisiana, and Meridian Michaels from Manhattan. Together they became Primal Force, protectors of the earth.
