In the mid 1960s, Lost in Space was a popular television show about a family of space explorers who became hopelessly lost due to the sabotage by the unscrupulous and mercenary Dr. Zachary Smith. Thirty years later it engendered a big–budget movie. This three–issue mini–series from Dark Horse picks up the continuing adventures of the Robinson family after the events of the movie.

Still searching for the way home, the crew of the Jupiter 2 land on a planet to make repairs after an encounter with an asteroid belt. Major West and Dr. Smith pair off when the group decides to explore the area, and soon the corrupt Smith has found a way to turn circumstances to his advantage. He discovers an alien battlesuit in a crevice into which he has fallen, and quickly dons the armor thinking only of the power that will be his. However, the power he obtains begins to exact an extreme price…
