Miseroth: Amok Hell

Miseroth is a demon, although he’s fairly charming as demons go. Unfortunately, he has a problem: an obsidian dagger he borrowed from the head honcho of Hell had been lent to a mortal named Paulo, and is now missing. Paulo was a ruthless thrill-killer who had a habit of blowing away convenience store clerks in Southern California. He was also into the occult, and had hoped to use the dagger to gain great power in a ritual human sacrifice. Although the sacrifice was killed (quite brutally), the ceremony had not been completed when federal agents put a stop to it—and to Paulo. He was shot several times, and with his dying breath let his woman Raven take the dagger.

When Paulo arrived in Hell, he was greeted by Miseroth, who reincarnated Paulo to help him get the dagger back. But the job’s too big to be left to chance, so Miseroth himself had to come to Earth to make sure it gets done.
