Atomic Mouse

    (Charlton, 1953-1963)
™ and ©1954 Charlton Publications, Inc.

Atomic Mouse, a funny animal super-hero, enjoyed a ten-year run as a comic book, television, and movie character during the 1950s and 1960s. Atomic Mouse helps keep the world safe from fiendish (and generally feline) menaces to the funny animal community, using his atomically-enhanced powers, which include super strength and flight, to foil their schemes.

Illustrated with insane energy by Al Fago, one of the true masters of the funny animal style, Atomic Mouse provided fun, entertaining, and “wholesome” reading (it even says so on the cover!) for younger fans. Atomic Mouse made an encore appearance in the 1980s, courtesy of Charlton Comics.
