Congo Bill (DC)

Congo Bill is a white man in colonial Africa in 1954. This is a jungle comic, competing for a share of the Tarzan and Sheena market. All art is by Nick Cardy, a master draftsman. There are three stories per issue. The plots are pretty silly, but the Nick Cardy artwork is absolutely beautiful. This series lasted only six issues, but is a valuable collectable both because of the Cardy art, and because of its scarcity.
