Life of Groo

After The Death of Groo, Mark Evanier and Sergio Aragones brought Groo back to life in this original feature length graphic novel. This volumes resembles the type of tale commonly tackled by Asterix and Tintin, retelling the adventures of Groo as a little boy and how he came to be everyone’s favorite mendicant. This graphic novel almost didn’t have a “life” of its own when Marvel’s Epic Comics originally published it in 1993 with a tiny run, prompting many longtime readers to express protest in the regular Groo title’s letter column claiming the non-existence of this book. Graffiti Designs rectified the matter by reissuing it in 1995.
