Happy Comics

    (Standard, 1943-1950)
™ and ©1950 Animated Cartoons, Inc.

Like its sister publications Barnyard Comics and Coo Coo Comics, Happy Comics was an inoffensive humor title aimed at younger readers. The most notable character was Happy Rabbit, a somewhat accident-prone bunny that came off as a nicer version of the more famous Bugs Bunny. Unlike Bugs, Happy had a girlfriend, the hard-to-please Bonny Bunny, as well as an inventor uncle who could be counted on to provide him with an array of unworkable devices. Other characters featured in this series included Wally Wolf and Dizzy Duck: stock animal comedy characters.

Following issue #40 of this series, the title was renamed Happy Rabbit.
