Darkdevil is set in the same Marvel Universe of the future as Spider-Girl and tells of the death of Daredevil and his spiritual battle with Zarathos, the Spirit of Vengeance, for the soul of a thirteen-year-old boy. Assisted by the former assassin Kaine, Darkdevil is that thirteen-year-old boy—merged with and guided by the spirit of Daredevil—and he’s got all of the Man without Fear’s moves, plus a few extra tricks—some scientific, some supernatural. In this limited series from writer Tom DeFalco (The Amazing Spider-Man), Ron Frenz (Thor), and Al Milgrom (Firestorm), Darkdevil fights to save Kaine, his mentor, from the vengeful Zarathos. Good stuff set in the almost defunct M2 Universe.
