Doom

    (Marvel, 2000)
™ and ©2000 Marvel Characters, Inc.

Trapped on the far side of the sun, Dr. Doom fights for his life in a strange and hostile environment. Although originally designed as a duplicate of our world, Counter-Earth’s history has taken vastly different paths. Stripped of the legendary armor that has made him a match for the Fantastic Four and the Avengers, Doom finds himself fighting desert slavers and amphibious armies to regain the power he’s always craved. But this time victory means more than Doom’s own survival. On Earth, Doom is a dictator used to imposing his own will on others. Now, he could be the last hope of freedom for the surviving humans of Counter-Earth. Centering his power-base in New York’s Baxter Building (the home of his greatest enemies on his own planet), Doom struggles to conquer the many forces arrayed against him, while secretly planning his return home.
