A mini-series starring the outrageously popular title character, Lady Death: Tribulation sets the tone for potentially major future changes in the Chaos Comics universe. Earth is under siege by an unholy, ancient evil known as Abaddon, Incarnation of the Abyss. As hordes of nightmarish creatures run rampant across the countryside, Lady Death allies herself with other powerful beings such as Cremator, Ravenheart, and Séance in order to prevent “the Dark Millennium” from coming to fruition. Meanwhile, Lady Death’s sister, Vandala has apparently betrayed Lady Death when she is in most need of allies. The blood goddess, Purgatori, complicates matters by refusing to join forces with Lady Death to defeat Abaddon. As the war with Abaddon approaches, Lady Death is forced to decide whom she can trust when her own family has betrayed her. And her decisions may not only change the course of her existence forever, but choose the fate of the Earth as well.
