This comic salutes the heroes of the September 11th, 2001 World Trade Center attacks, and includes an introduction by New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

For years comic books have given us the chance to see brightly clad super-heroes making the world a better place. On September 11th, the world changed. We found that our real world heroes—firefighters, police officers, and other rescue workers—went beyond the ideals of our imagination. In this title, Marvel Comics takes a moment of silence to honor their memory.
