The title character, Annique Talbot, is a teen from the future, sent back a hundred years to 1996 in order to keep the world from literally going to hell. In her world, mutants prowl outside the city, and demonic thugs lurk within. A deadly virus has laid waste to the world, and as if all that weren’t bad enough, the price of milk goes up every day.

Born of a human (and rather saintly) mother and the devil himself, Annique possesses dark powers which let her move objects, travel through time, and shred attackers into little bits of pulp. The more she uses them in anger, however, the closer she gets to falling into her father’s realm. Instead, she resolved to go back in time to the day all the bad things began—January 10th, 1996, and save the one person who could stop it all from occurring. That person is Razor, whose death at the hands of the children of Exile marked the start of hell on earth.
