From writer/artist Arthur Syodam comes this futuristic tale of two unstoppable killing machines who leave a trail of blood and death in their wake as they traipse across the ruins of a post-nuclear wasteland. With artwork reminiscent of early Bernie Wrightson (Frankenstein) and a story that seems like it could have ran in the pages of Britain’s 2000 A.D., Cholly and Flytrap, are mutated madmen who will take on any job at any time, as long as the price is right and they can kill whoever they want. The dark and moody art doesn’t really make up for the convoluted story line and if you are unfamiliar with the previous adventures of the duo, new readers are probably going to be lost. For a much better take on a duo stuck in a post–holocaust world check out Harlan Ellison’s and Richard Corben’s Vic and Blood.
