This black-and-white title from Lone Star Press offers up tales of almost reluctant heroes. The “Spellbinder” feature weaves the story of a combat sorcerer-in-training; his mentor has been turned into a cat and assigned to be Spellbinder’s familiar. It’s Doctor Strange, but with a Harry Potter twist. The second feature is “Otherworld,” a lost-world-filled-with-dinosaurs series starring a young woman who’s got to figure out how she got there. Another good book from the Texas-based publisher.
