The Ringo Kid Western

The Ringo Kid is a Western hero loner of the “good guys wear black” school, roaming the plains of the desert Southwest in the frontier days with his faithful horse Arab. Ringo had a knack for getting ambushed by the bad guys, but his fast wits and faster six-guns helped him out of trouble every time.

Ringo Kid was one of the mainstays of the Atlas (later Marvel) Western comics, which also included Two-Gun Kid, Black Rider, and Outlaw Kid. Ringo benefited from some excellent artwork courtesy of master illustrators John Severin and Al Williamson. Many of the Ringo Kid stories from the 1950s were later reprinted in a second Ringo Kid series from Marvel during the early 1970s.
