When innocent blood is spilled, bad boy biker John Blaze finds himself transformed into a skeletal fire demon thundering through the night on a mystical motorcycle of pure hellfire. As Ghost Rider, he avenges just souls tarnished by the touch of evil! Dropping the hammer on a motorcycle from Hell, Ghost Rider wields a length of heavy chain infused with magical properties. Pity those unlucky souls that are within a chain’s length of its vengeful owner’s reach. All the while, Blaze struggles valiantly to prevent the demon from wrecking havoc.

And so Ghost Rider—blood-born Spirit of Vengeance, High Lord of Hell on Earth—haunts the highways, visiting his righteous wrath upon the souls of the wicked and the damned. Violence and mayhem have always been relevant to this title and those aspects have been retained as a member of the Marvel Knights lineup.
