Raiders of the Lost Ark

This series is based on the popular Spielberg film, the first of three movies which starred Harrison Ford, of Star Wars fame, as the adventurous archaeologist Indiana Jones. In this installment, Indy is on a quest to find the legendary Ark of the Covenant—the chest containing the shattered fragments of the Ten Commandments. But he is not the only one searching for this mythical source of power.

Nazi agents seek the Ark as well, their leader Hitler covetous of the destructive energy it is rumored to wield. Legends claim that any army bearing the Ark into battle will be unbeatable. The trail leads to Marion Ravenwood, Indy’s estranged lover and daughter of his former mentor. She holds the key to the Ark’s location, but the knowledge means nothing if Indy can’t keep her alive long enough to use it.
