™ and ©1991 Entertainment Publishing

With the aid of a mysterious ring from the stars, average human Rex Mason has the ability to transform himself into any of the lower forms of life on the planet. With this power, Rex has devoted himself to crime fighting—an obsession of super-hero life that ultimately costs him a marriage. But fate interjects a cruel hand…

A government agency with designs on our hero abducts Rex’s ex-wife and, in hopes to coerce him into working for them, threatens her life. It is a super-hero’s worst nightmare—one that Rex thought he could avoid when he made the decision to leave his wife. But now he must deal with the situation as only a super-hero can.

Insect Man has been around since 1965—a product strictly of the amateur press. This issue marks the character’s 25th anniversary as well as his first run through anything other than a Xerox.
