Superman: A Nation Divided

The year is 1863, perhaps the darkest time in American history, as North battles South in a war that could tear apart a nation. That’s when General Ulysses S. Grant sees things begin to turn in his favor thanks to the incredible abilities of a young enlistee from Kansas by the name of Atticus Kent. For how can an army lose when led by a man who shrugs off gunfire, stops a locomotive in its tracks, and flies?

This DC Elseworlds adventure drops Superman into the middle of the Civil War, and shows what might have happened if he had been around—and not just during the war, but afterwards. For instance, what might have happened if President Lincoln had had the Last Son of Krypton at his side?
