The thing that stands out most about this black and white independent comic is Lotfi’s dynamic and absorbing pencils. Lotfi’s style is truly manga-influenced and his linework reminiscent of a young Joe Maudiera (Battle Chasers, Uncanny X-Men). The story revolves around a world ruled by the Crimson Empire and the battle that is being waged over that control. When the Emperor of that realm escapes to Earth, a young man named Caleb is drawn into the conflict. Is Caleb the long missing heir to the Crimson Empire?
